SKINFLICKER blends hand processed Super8 footage with a digital editing technique that extracts and arbitrarily shuffles each frame of the film. It reinterprets the flicker film form using a purely digital editing and explores the representation of a body through surface (film) and fragmentation, accompanied by a percussion soundtrack played on the Irish bodhrán, itself made from animal hide.
